Ghaleb S. Rababah

 
Sheikh Ghaleb S. Rababaah is the Imam of the Royal Hashemite Court, he was appointed by a Royal Decree in 2017. He received his Bachelor degree in Jurisprudence in 1948.

Rababaah served as a lecturer at Princess Muna College of Nursing in Amman (1985 - 1990), an Imam for the Special Royal Guards (1990 - 2000), Advisor for the Hamza Bin Abdul Muttalib Brigade of the Special Royal Guard (2000 - 2006), Imam and preacher of the King Hussein Bin Talal Mosque (2006 - 2016), and Mufti of the Armed Forces- Arab Army at the rank of brigadier before he was appointed the Imam of the Royal Hashemite Court.

Rababaah is a Member of the Board of Trustees of a number of institutions including the World Islamic Sciences & Education University, the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought, Majlis al-Ifta (Council of Fatwa), The University of Jordan Islamic Cultural Center. He is also a member of Board of Trustees of the Integral al-Razi Chair, a chair established by the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought to teach the work and thought of Imam Fakhr al-Din al-Razi.

He has published several research papers in Military Journals on the role of religious institutions in combating extremist ideology, narcotics and procedures for prevention of drugs use, the issue of poverty and how Islam deals with it, and others.

Rababaah has been an active participant in many social and youth awareness events, meetings, and television shows.
