British Academic Delegation Visits UJ

 

 
A British academic delegation comprising of representatives of UUKi (Universities UK International) and four British universities (Salford, Sussex, St. Andrews and Worcester) visited the University of Jordan (UJ) on Monday, June 17.
 
The purpose of visit was to explore areas of academic cooperation between UJ and the British universities.
 
 
During the visit which was arranged by British Council, UJ President Prof. Abdul Karim Al-Qudah, briefed the delegation about the university's schools, departments, and academic programs.
 
The two sides agreed to extend bridges of academic cooperation between them, including the exchange of faculty members, students, establishing joint academic programs and exchanging researchers and co-supervising master's and doctoral dissertations.
 
The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Scientific Schools Prof. Kifah Jammani, Vice President for Humanities Schools Prof. Ahmad Majdoubeh, Vice Dean of Academic Research for Humanities Schools and Administrative Affairs Dr. Renad Momani, and Director of International Affairs Unit Dr. Hadeel Yassin.
