The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Abdul Karim Al Qudah received in his office on Monday, August 5th, the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Assistant Director-General Dr. Amina Al-Hajri.
The meeting tackled ways of cooperation concerning the medical, social and educational caravan for remote areas’ population in Jordan which is co-organized by ISESCO.
Al-Hajri explained the purpose of the caravan program which is designed to benefit the residents of remote areas in the ISESCO countries.
According to her, the initiative was co-launched in 2015 by ISESCO and Alwaleed Philanthropies as a humanitarian programme with an aim to improve the living conditions of population in remote areas.
Al-Hajri pointed out to the importance of UJ's role in the success of the caravan operations in Jordan through cooperation and coordination with the Center for Development and Community Service and the "Faculty for Factory" program.
The meeting was attended by Faculty for Factory National Program (FFF) Manager Dr. Yousef Al-Abdallat, and Director of the Center for Development and Community Service, Dr. Rania Jabr.
