The event was attended by the Acting President of the University Prof. Imad Salah, the Italian Ambassador in Amman Fabio Cassese and the Dean of the School Dr. Turki Bani Khaled, faculty and staff members and students.
With an aim to introduce UJ students to the Italian language and culture, the event is held annually at UJ in the third week of October, and includes an array of cultural events.
Held this year under the theme "The Italian on the Stage", the event saw a performance by soprano Sara Fanin of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and several performances by UJ students from the Italian language section.
