KASIT Marks Obtaining International Accreditation for all Programs

​​King Abdullah II School of Information Technology at the University of Jordan (UJ) on Wednesday, November 20, held an event marking its successful obtaining of international accreditation for all of its programs.

 

All bachelor programs offered by the School have been awarded the certificate of international accreditation by the American Engineering and Technology Accreditation Council (ABET).
 
The programs are Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, and Business Information Technology.
 
Furthermore, renovated facilities with the support of progressSoft Corporation were inaugurated during the event, including lab 205, ProgressSoft laboratory, and the Digital Forensic and Evidence Laboratory.
 
KASIT has proved to be one of the best IT schools locally and globally. This year, UJ ranked within the category (201-250) globally in the computer science subject, according to the Times Higher Education World University Ranking.
 
The School is in the process of launching new programs in data science, artificial intelligence and cyber security, and students will be accepted in these programs next year  academic (2020/2021).
