UJ Hosts "Imagineers Entrepreneurship" Finals

​The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Jordan (UJ) on Saturday, November 30, hosted the final event of the "Imagineers Entrepreneurship" contest on entrepreneurial projects which is organized in cooperation with IEE and the Dutch organization “SPARK”.

 

The contest provides undergraduate students the opportunity to express their creativity and entrepreneurial capabilities on ideas that are applicable and useful for society.
 
The "Recycly" projects by UJ student Abdul Rahman Dalaq has won the first place of the contest. The project is an assembled machine that collects recyclable materials and reforms them in a reusable manner.
 
Ahmad Abu Al-Filat from the German Jordanian University won the second place for his "Lessgo" project, while the third place went to a project by Suleiman Al-Kilani from the Jordan University of Science and Technology named "Boxer".
 
15 pioneering projects from 30 universities have competed in the final round on topics dealt with waste recycling, smart cities, electronic applications with effective solutions, in addition to projects related to renewable energy.
