UJ and MS Pharma Sign Memorandum of Understanding

The University of Jordan (UJ) on Sunday, February 25, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MS Pharma, a multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Jordan.
 
The MoU, which was signed by UJ president Prof. Azmi Mahafzah and MS Pharma Chief Executive Officer Dr. Essam Farouk, aims at establishing a fruitful collaboration between the company and the School of Pharmacy.
 
“We are very pleased to sign this MoU as it paves the way for great cooperation and exchange of knowledge between the two entities", Mahafzah said upon signing the MoU.
 
This agreement will allow both organizations to contribute to the development of the sector and professionals working in the Pharmaceutical industries field.
 
Collaboration will include training of UJ students at the company's facilities, modernizing pharmaceutical and industrial pharmaceutical laboratories, providing support for student graduation projects, and in the implementation of training programs aimed at increasing pharmacy graduates' professionalism.
 
For his part, Farouk warmly welcomed this cooperation, commending the University's numerous contributions to higher education.
