Physiotherapy Programme Awarded International Accreditation

The Physiotherapy bachelor programme offered by the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Jordan (UJ) has been awarded international accreditation by the World Federation of Physical Therapy (WCPT).
 
The programme meets WCPT's requirements and criteria in terms of the teaching staff, resources, curriculum, clinical training program and the outcomes.
 
Dean of the School, Prof. Nihad Masri, stressed that International accreditation recognizes the academic quality of the programme, therefore increasing graduates' competitiveness in the global training higher education and job markets.
 
Masri added that the School aspires to become recognized as a leading school of rehabilitation sciences, regionally and internationally.
 
WCPT was founded in 1951 and represents more than 450,000 physical therapists worldwide through its 109 member organizations.
