The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center at the University of Jordan (UJ) has released the 2018 Highly Cited Researchers in Jordan List, June edition.
The ranking is based on the total number of incoming citations of scientific research papers produced by the scientists according to Google Scholar.
The classification considered all Jordanian researchers who belong to a Jordanian university with at least one thousand citations. The scholars were primarily listed according to their h-index and then the total number of citations.
The results showed that there are 174 Jordanian researchers with at least a thousand citations, 74 of whom are from UJ (42.5%), 53 from the Jordan University of Science and Technology (30.5%), and 11 from the Hashemite University (6.3%).
