​UJ’s School of Pharmacy Renews ACPE International Accreditation until 2022.


 

On August 27, 2018, UJ's School of Pharmacy celebrated the renewal of their international accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education ( ACPE) until the year 2022. UJ’s Acting President Emad Salah was present to open a virtual pharmacy called "Rouhi”, a lecture hall called ACDIMA, and another hall called “Pharmaceutical Vigilance” in the School's main building. Several people were present for the ceremony: the Chairman of the Pharmacist Association, Dr. Zaid Kilani; the general manager of ACDIMA, Dr. Mohammad Khalil; and the General Manager of Pharmacy One, Amjad Aryan as well as a distinguished group of faculty members and students from the school.


The Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Dr. Dr.Albsoul explained the school was able to receive the accreditation from ACPE and to meet all the quality standards to meet world standards in the School's educational outcomes. Dr Albsoul also stated that this accomplishment was a result of the hard work of faculty members and the administration. Dr. Albsoul emphasized in her talk that the School is dedicated to helping students in a number of areas such as problem solving, critical skills, teamwork, and self-learning to gain a clear understanding of the ethics of the profession and their responsibility towards their society, humanity, and community. She also praised faculty members and researchers for their scientific contributions,  reflected in the publication of studies in international journals as well as the various patents registered nationally and internationally, many of which have won awards.


In closing, the Dr. Emad Salah thanked the participating companies and wished the School success and prosperity going forward.
