The University of Jordan (UJ) is in the 2019 QS Graduate Employability Rankings list for top 500 universities in the world; occupying the 251st position in comparison with last year’s 267th position.
This global ranking, in which UJ was the only Jordanian university included, depends on five indicators: Alumni Outcomes, Employer - Student Connections, Employer Reputation, Graduate Employment Rate, and Partnerships with Employers.
The University’s Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center stated that the University has strategies and plans to boost the quality of programs and graduate employability, and it is currently working extensively on the employability and work-based education file.
According to the Center, much has been accomplished in the advancement of academic programs in the University. The suitability of learning, teaching, and evaluation methods will be taken into consideration in the improved study plans, in order to match the outcomes with the market needs.
