UJ Journals Achieve High Category Rank

 

 

Four academic journals published by the Deanship of Academic Research at the University of Jordan (UJ) recorded a high impact factor among academic journals in the Arab world, according to 2018 report of Arab Citation and Impact Factor "ARCIF".
 
"ARCIF", which is the first index for Arab academic production that complies to international standards of cataloging and indexing, was officially launched by e-marefa - the largest online Arab academic database - recently in a special ceremony.
 
The report indexes 4000 academic and research journals from 20 Arab countries.
 
The Jordan Journal of Business Administration (JJBA), which is supported by the government's Scientific Research Support Fund, ranked 1st in the economic, financial and administrative sciences category. The Journal 'Dirasat: Administrative Sciences' came 4th.
 
The Jordan Journal of Social Sciences (JJSS), which is also supported by the Scientific Research Support Fund ranked 1st in its category. Whereas 'Dirasat: Educational Sciences' came 3rd.
