On February 11th, the University of Jordan (UJ) professor Alia Alghwiri has been promoted to the rank of full professor, becoming the first full professor of physical therapy in Jordan.
Currently, Dr. Alghwiri serves as the Vice Dean of the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at UJ. She also serves as the President of the Jordanian Physiotherapy Society.
Alghwiri received her PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh, USA, in 2011.
Commenting on her accomplishment, Alghwiri says there are three points for success: love for the good of all, double effort, and patience.
