UJ Holds 54th Graduation Ceremony

 

 

Friday, June 15, saw the kick-off of the graduation ceremonies' week of the 54th batch of students at the University of Jordan (UJ).
 
1178 graduates from the Schools of Arts, Shari'a and International Studies marched across the university stadium to receive their degrees during the first day of the ceremonies.
 
The total number of graduating students this year is 8494; 6700 are graduating in the Bachelor level programs, 132 in the Vocational Diploma level programs, 1213 in the Master's level programs, 432 in the PhD level programs, and 17 students in the Higher Diploma level programs.
 
The ceremonies concluded on Thursday, June 20, with handling certificates to 690 students from the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry.
 
Commenting on the event, UJ President Prof. Abdul Karim Al Qudah said: "I am extremely proud of them and I wish them a bright future and successful careers".
 
Al Qudah urged the graduates to be catalysts for positive change in their communities and encouraged them to "continue to build on what you have learned at UJ for the good of themselves and their country".
