UJ Scholar Receives Award of Egyptian Council of Math Education

Professor of Mathematics Teaching Methods at the School of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan (UJ), Ibrahim Al-Shara', has received the Scientific Leadership Award of the Egyptian Council of Mathematics Education.

Al-Shara' received this award in appreciation of a journey of science and creativity that enriched mathematics education in the Arab world, due to his active participation in the association’s events and seminars aimed at developing mathematics teaching and learning, as well as his diverse and multiple research experiences in the field. Also in appreciation of his vigorous participation in the Council's 18th international conference that was held recently, during which he presented a scientific seminar that enriched researchers on the subject of meta-analysis of educational research at UJ between 1990-2017.

The Egyptian Council of Mathematics Education is considered the largest gathering of curricula and methods of mathematics teaching educators in Egypt. The association holds an annual conference and numerous seminars.
