As part of its endeavors to better prepare students for the labor market, on January 8, the University of Jordan (UJ) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU) to collaborate on the initiatives of HTUX.ORG, a pioneering digital learning platform offering innovative and accelerated educational pathways.
The MoU was signed by UJ President Prof. Nathir Obaidat and HTU President Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Hinti, in the presence of vice presidents, directors of relevant departments, and representatives from both universities.
Through this agreement, UJ students will have the opportunity to benefit from the HTUX.ORG platform, the first of its kind in the Arab world, developed by HTU's Digital Learning Center.
One of the platform's key initiatives, "Growth", offers 4,000 free opportunities for Jordanian youth — including final-year students and recent graduates — to accelerate their career development through intensive learning pathways completed within six months.
Opportunities on the platform are competitive, prioritizing students who demonstrate clear commitment and motivation to achieve positive career outcomes. The first 4,000 participants who successfully complete the full program will gain exclusive advancement opportunities.
Both universities will work together to facilitate access to the platform and support as many students as possible in joining and completing the programs, with the shared goal of fostering meaningful career growth.
The "Growth" initiative is part of the Abdullah Al-Ghurair Foundation's programs, launched at the end of last year in Jordan, Tunisia, and Lebanon. In Jordan, it is implemented through HTUX.ORG in partnership with the Abdullah Al-Ghurair Foundation and the Crown Prince Foundation.
