UJ Introduces Cutting-Edge Diploma Programs for 2024/2025 Academic Year

As part of its strategic commitment to innovation and market-driven education, the University of Jordan (UJ) has launched a series of specialized diploma programs that reflect global trends and national needs. These programs offer advanced training in emerging disciplines and provide practical pathways to professional excellence.

A Diploma in Artificial Intelligence (AI)

In a pioneering move, UJ has introduced a specialized diploma in Artificial Intelligence, delivered in collaboration with the Center for Consultation and Training, CyberShield Academy of the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB), and the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology.

Designed for aspiring tech professionals, the program delivers 500 training hours across critical AI domains, including: Python programming and applied mathematics for AI, Data science, machine learning, and business intelligence, Computer vision, natural language processing, and generative AI, Robotics, IoT, and a hands-on capstone project.

This comprehensive diploma provides participants with both, foundational and applied skills, aligned with the needs of the digital economy.

Higher Diploma in Tax Expertise

School of Business has launched a new Higher Diploma in Tax Expertise through its Department of Accounting, aimed at building highly skilled tax professionals. The program was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by leaders from academia, government, and the private sector.

Spanning two years and comprising 24 accredited hours, the curriculum includes: Income and sales tax accounting, Tax auditing, legislation, and financial analysis, Accounting standards, cost accounting, and managerial finance.

Through real-world case studies and field simulations, students will develop deep expertise in navigating complex tax systems. The program reflects UJ's strong collaboration with national institutions and its commitment to bridging academia with real-world practice.

Higher Diploma in Sports Nutrition

Responding to rising interest in health and performance, UJ has unveiled a Higher Diploma in Sports Nutrition, jointly offered by the Department of Nutrition and Food Technology and the School of Sports Sciences.

The diploma covers modern topics such as: Sports metabolism and exercise physiology, dietary planning and supplementation, Application of AI in nutrition science.

The 24-credit-hour program is structured around evening lectures to accommodate working professionals and includes practical training in state-of-the-art laboratories.
