
The University of Jordan (UJ) celebrates a major achievement by its School of Pharmacy, whose team earned first place in the 7th International SIPHA Clinical Skills Competition 2025, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The win came against 39 competing teams from leading universities across the Arab world.
The competition, organized as part of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society's annual scientific conference, tested clinical pharmacy expertise through a series of advanced, multi-stage challenges.
UJ's winning team included: Dr. Rima Hajazine, Dr. Ahmad Al-Mousa, Dr. Lubabah Azzam, Dr. Maysam Abo-Raqeeq and students Wisam Shalabaya, Marya Qusai, and Sarah Najeeb.
Demonstrating academic excellence and professional enthusiasm, UJ's team advanced through all three competitive rounds to secure the top position with distinction.
“This success is a reflection of our strong commitment to academic excellence, student empowerment, and hands-on clinical training," Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Prof. Rula Darwish, said.
This international recognition highlights UJ's dedication to developing globally competitive graduates and fostering a learning environment that bridges academic knowledge with real-world application.
