
The University of Jordan (UJ), represented by the Vice President for Humanities Schools Prof. Nahed Emaish, met with a French academic delegation headed by the Academic and Scientific Cooperation Attaché at the French Embassy in Jordan, Prof. Oissila Saaidia, to discuss prospects for academic collaboration in French language studies, business, and international relations.
The delegation included representatives from Sorbonne Nouvelle University, Sciences Po Paris, the Finistère–CIEL Bretagne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and several French business schools, including EM Strasbourg, ESCP, EM Normandie, and KEDGE Business School.
During the meeting, Emaish emphasized UJ’s commitment to strengthening academic partnerships with French institutions in areas of mutual interest, highlighting the university’s strategy of internationalization and its efforts to develop academic programs in line with global standards.
The discussions were attended by Dean of the School of Foreign Languages Prof. Marwan Jarrah, Dean of the School of Business Prof. Samer Dahiyat, and Vice Dean of the Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II School of Political Science and International Studies Dr. Ayman Al-Barasneh. The meeting explored opportunities for joint academic and research programs, as well as student and faculty exchange initiatives, with both sides agreeing to maintain coordination and hold follow-up meetings to translate the discussions into concrete partnerships.
